PROGRAM:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cHow to Build and Develop Backyard Bird Photo Opportunities\u201d by David Strozdas. <\/strong>Join former state game warden and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service special agent David <\/strong>Strozdas for an immersive presentation on mastering backyard bird photography. A <\/strong>seasoned survivalist who has spent a year alone in both jungle and desert <\/strong>environments, Strozdas brings a wealth of global field experience\u2014from capturing <\/strong>hummingbirds and tropical wildlife in the Sierra Madres and Andes Mountains to <\/strong>tracking big game in South Africa. His award-winning photography has been featured <\/strong>in premier national and state publications, including Outdoor Oklahoma and Birder\u2019s W<\/strong>orld. In this practical session, he will demonstrate how to build the ultimate <\/strong>backyard setup, sharing proven insider tips to entice birds into perfect, meaningful <\/strong>angles. Attendees will learn actionable techniques using winter-ready tricks, fruits, <\/strong>and seeds to inject vibrant color and dynamic life into their images during the bleakest <\/strong>months of the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget to include the title! Send your <\/strong>photo as .jpg files, if possible, and be sure to include the word CHALLENGE in <\/strong>the subject line\u2014otherwise, we might miss your email!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The photo Challenge is \u201cThe Carnegie Library\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Built in 1922, this historic building served as the public library until 1973 and was <\/strong>added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. Today, it is home to <\/strong>Arts for All and our very own photography club. For this challenge, we invite you <\/strong>to explore and interpret this landmark through your lens. Show us the many ways <\/strong>our talented photographers see this space\u2014through composition, lighting, <\/strong>architectural details, mood, color, and creative perspective. Celebrate the history, <\/strong>character, and spirit of this iconic building in your own unique way.<\/strong><\/p>\n
