{"id":322,"date":"2020-11-04T22:00:13","date_gmt":"2020-11-04T22:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wichitawildlight.org\/wordpress\/?page_id=322"},"modified":"2021-06-01T15:43:08","modified_gmt":"2021-06-01T15:43:08","slug":"photo-gallery-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/wichitawildlight.org\/?page_id=322","title":{"rendered":"Photo Submission Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Photo Submissions to the Wichita Wildlight Photographic Society<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For all pictures submitted to WWPS:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">PHOTO SUBMISSION SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Photos should be sized to 1000 pixels on the long side.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t know how to resize a photo,\u00a0send it and we will resize it.\u00a0 However, we expect you to learn how to do it yourself in the future.\u00a0 We will provide training on how to resize photos if you ask.\u00a0Take note that any pictures posted on Facebook will have already been resized by Facebook and there is no need for you to resize it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Photos should be given a title and the photographer\u2019s name included for credit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Do not place ads in any photos.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Do not submit an entire gallery of photos to WWPS, like a batch of wedding pictures, for example. We are looking for a variety of images from you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Remember that what you submit is a representation of you and WWPS. Please use good judgment. We will not post images that are inappropriate or illegal in content (obscene, racist, lewd, hate-based, nudes, etc). Remember, we have members who are children. If you wonder if it is appropriate for our gallery, then\u00a0<u>don\u2019t\u00a0<\/u>send it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Photos submitted and used by WWPS will not be archived by us.\u00a0 So, keep a safe copy of your images for yourself.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The WWPS Photo Gallery Moderator or WWPS officers have the right to not post photos or to remove photos that are not in compliance with the above rules.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pictures submitted to WWPS for use in the \u201cShow &amp; Tell\u201d portion of the meetings or from posts you make on the group\u2019s Facebook page will be considered as giving us permission to use your pictures on our Slide Show webpage, General Gallery webpage, or in our newsletter.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Each WWPS member is permitted to have a personal photo gallery.
